SUNDAY, MAY 20 MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDE?

As you know, I'm out of town for two weeks. (so is Julie Phillips)

So it won't be considered mutiny or anything punishable if someone wants to step in and organize some rides in my absence. Heck, if it's done really well, there may be a future RideMaster job in it for the lucky aspirant.

Anyone available for this Thursday? I'd like to get a ride in before departing for vacation. I can be there as early as 4:00, but 4:30 would be fine too.

SUNDAY, MAY 13 MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDE

The Thursday night group voted to ride in the Cuyamacas on Sunday. Starting from the Sweetwater Parking area off Hwy 79, we'll do the Westside trail, Upper Green Valley Trail to Soapstone, the the La Cima trail over to the Lucky 5 trail and back to the car by one of various options.

Tierrasanta at 7:00 or the parking lot at 8:00am.

THURSDAY NIGHT RIDE, MAY 10

The only way I'm NOT riding this Thursday night is if it's raining so heavily I can't see the trail. So, who else can make the ride? We can do whatever the group prefers, but a Santee ride puts us in a better staging position for Filippi's pizza and beer afterward.

Julie has agreed to try and organize the Thursday and Sunday rides, so please give her more respect and constuctive responses than you show me.

Once again work stuff trumps my riding; it's no wonder I am so out of shape and unable to keep up. Nonetheless, I hope some of our group can get organized and out for a ride this Thursday. There is a small chance of rain, but hopefully the weather will be OK.

Hope it works out. Retirement is sounding better all the time!
